hey yall! anotha quick update, i KNOW i said iSSUE 3 would be out by this month’s halfway point smh. sadly my schedule got a wee bit sidetracked…

i was lucky enough to get the opportunity to go down to LA and attend the BRAINDEAD STUDIOS Jet Set Radio 25 Anniversary event!!!

i was only able to attend the monday event though, but it was still tons of fun! i was there for the showing of ‘The Warriors’, which honestly im surprised i hadn’t seen sooner. i remember trying to read the book YEARS ago, but i was never really able to get into it (i was also in like 5th grade and i thought it was related to the Warrior cats book series smh. its probably better that i didnt read it at that age-).

it was a REALLY good move and i’d recommend yall watch it. SERIOUSLY! idk how to describe it, its total hyper-masculine campy early 80s sorta movie it goes so hard-

i also got to add my throw to the sign-thing they had set up! i had to come up with the throw on-the-spot the day before, but im happy with how it turned out ngl! i might keep it lol.

(only downside of the trip was i ate a rouge pb and j sandwhich i found in a nearby park because i ran outta food and it did make me a lil ill the following day. thats on me tho lmaoo-)

i got to meet so many cool people and i had a hell of a good time! watching The Warriors has given me some much needed inspiration for JSRX, more than i think i realized i needed. im super pumped to get iSSUE 3 out as soon as i can, stay tuned!!
