iSSUE 4 is movin along slowly, not much has been happenin’ recently tbh. ive been sorta stuck in limbo, stressin about finding another job since the season is almost over, starting the fall school semester, all that kinda stuff. i feel like ive been keepin yall in the dark recently with the lack of updates, but the truth is there isn’t a crazy amount of interesting things i can really tell yall about?
Otis is workin on the iSSUE 3 update commentary right now, so that SHOULD be out soon? he and i are also doin a LOT of UI overhaul stuff, which is nice! i know some might like the old website design, but im really diggin the newer interface ngl, i just wish there was a way to make the it look more like a website from 2009 loll-
im kinda struggling with finding a good song for iSSUE 4. again, i have a handful that i think would be good, but im always worried about using all the “good” songs too soon or somethin. not that it really matters tho; what good is a somethin’ you save for a rainy day if you never end up using it? either way, ive got time to figure it out! the pacing, again, is being spaced out a lil weirdly, so sorry Clutch fans we gonna be starving for a lil bit longer it seems…
good news is that iSSUE 4 will be slightly more action oriented n stuff! to be frank, ive never been the best with action scenes (or the representational), so i end up makin long-winded scenes of “bitches jus talkinggg”. and no interesting visuals either, just different angles of faces… i really need to work on that ngl- :^C
ive also been trying to work on my pen pressure n stuff. i wear out nibs REALLY fast, and it starting to become a problem given just how much i’ve been drawing recently. im always scared of getting some kind of carpal tunnel or somethin down the line, even though im not predisposed to anythin like that. i hope?
as for other things, meh? we got some very opinionated individuals about gum’s design in the comic, but thats to be expected at this point. i already said it before but ill say it again; making a 15 year old girl attractive is not reeaally somethin i wanna do, yknow? i know i know, its blunt and kinda mean.
