i really wish i could’ve done the entire comic in color, trust me! however, since i (luque) am the sole illustrator/colorist on this project, if i had to color every single panel it would take twice as long to finish each iSSUE.
instead, i’ve decided to render the first and last comic pages in watercolors, as both a time-saver and as an homage to taiyo matsumoto’s mangas. he’s been a big inspiration for me, and i’d highly recommend his work.

((i didn’t get introduced to his work until mid 2023, so i was surprised to find a handful of out-of-pocket similarities between both of our comics. his are much better than mine though, that’s a given lol-))
