O: Luque and I have been discussing changing the tone of future updates (audio and written); we both came to the conclusion that shifting the way they are addressed and written could be beneficial. Something more akin to a letter or voicemail.
L: yeah yeah, these sorts of things will still be formatted like this i guess, but more like, the individual updates? and the audio updates of course.
L: this is otis’s idea loll
O: And you agreed with it, to be fair.
L: thats cuz id hope the guy in charge of writing would know what hes doing lol
O: I do worry the newer format could have the negative side effect of coming across as uh… parasocial?
L: yeah but i like ur idea! you know me, im a sap. im also not too good at the whole “announcing” stuff sorta thing, makes me feel like a narcissist ngl
O: I personally enjoy when something is written in a more personal format, and even if it doesn’t make sense in a situational aspect, it could still be an interesting writing device.
L: yeah, somethin like that!
O: I know you are working on the next audio update at the moment, so I assume both that and the written update will be in the newer format?
L: yup yup, it’ll be done soon… i hope
